Answering the phone with really long scripts

“Good afternoon you're through to XYZ company the best ABC service in your area, this is Jessica speaking how can I help you today?”

If it takes you longer to answer the phone than it takes to answer the persons query, you're doing it wrong.

Personally I'm fond of the simple, “XYZ Company, Ross speaking&rdquo (smile too, you can tell if someone is smiling)
